POOL TAGS REQUIRED FOR USE OF POOL
Pool identification bracelets are now required for all pool users for the 2008 season. This is part of a coordinated program by all Kingwood village pools. They are supplied at no cost to homeowners whose assessments are currently paid in full. If you received a Pool tag request form in the mail and mailed it in, your pool tags are available for pickup at the pool from the lifeguards. If you did not mail in your request form or if you have questions, call Kingwood Association Management at 281-359-1102 for information on getting pool tags at their office at 1102 Kingwood Drive, Suite 104.
These pool ID bracelets are to be worn at all times while inside the pool area and will be accepted at all participating Kingwood area pools. Up to two guests of each bracelet holder, with a limit of 5 guests per family, will be allowed to use the pool after signing in at the front desk. Lost of damaged bracelets will be replaced for $3 per bracelet at Kingwood Association Management’s office.
Non-residents of Kingwood may purchase pool identification bracelets from Kingwood Association Management at a cost of $125/family, plus $3 per tag for the 2008 season.

POOL SERVICE COMPANY
DS Recreational Services has our pool operations contract. Included in the services are lifeguards, pool cleaning, pool chemicals, equipment, maintenance, cleaning and maintaining the rest rooms, guard room, chemicals area and pump room. Remember that the lifeguards employed by DS have the ultimate authority over all users at the pool. Compliance with all pool rules is mandatory. Failure to abide by the rules posted at the pool may result in the loss of access to the facility for the remainder of the season.
If you have any complaints or problems with the pool operations or you want to say “good job” to a lifeguards or DS, please call Al Le Blanc, Board Member (281 360-7559).
POOL PARTIES
SAFETY AND GENERAL USE ISSUES:
The pool is for Kings Point residents to enjoy. There are detailed rules posted on the pool bulletin board for your safety and the safety of others. PLEASE READ THEM! The rules cover such things as when children can be at the pool without a parent (children ages 10 through 12 years of age who pass a simple swimming test), how many people are allowed on the diving board at one time, etc. The pool lifeguards will help by answering your questions, blowing their whistle, talking to anyone not familiar with the rules, and showing you where the rules are posted. The phone at the pool is for urgent calls or short calls ONLY. We have a very good safety record at the pool. In order to keep our good record in tact, please help out by encouraging your children to walk in the pool area, keep the entry gate closed and latched and comply with all the pool rules.
The pool lifeguards are there for safety, not clean up. If you take food or drinks (no glass containers) to the pool, please clean up when you are done. If you have young children, please keep a close eye on them for safety’s sake and “when nature calls” use our restrooms so we don’t have to close the pool for water quality reasons.
THANKS AND ENJOY!!
